That is very interesting, You are a very skilled blogger.
I’ve joined your rss feed and look ahead to looking for extra of your excellent post. Also, I’ve shared
your web site in my social networks
I’m not that much of a internet reader to be honest but your
sites really nice, keep it up! I’ll go ahead and bookmark your site to come back later on. All the best
Is it possible to add Facebook to the Cherryland Humane Society site and to correct the GTAC phone number?
Done. Thanks for the info. to keep me updated.
I recently started a pet food program in Kingston,Ontario.Canada and I am pretty new at this type of thing. Eventually my dream is to raise funds to be able to spay and neuter pets that the owner can’t afford to, and even help in any medical costs. Any ideas or pointers on what to do next to be successful in running a program of this nature would be greatly appreciated. For example…..fund raising ideas, whether or not there is any government funding available, ideas on what other agencies, or groups we would benefit from becoming involved with.
You should look at local grants in your area (where I live, we have Rotary grants and foundations set up for grants in our area). Also look on the internet for specific grants for what you are doing. Get a website and Facebook site and promote what you are doing. Put up flyers at all the veterinarian offices in your area (within 50 miles)… get going on forming a non-profit so that donations are tax-deductible. Talk to vets and negotiate good pricing – and also maybe some “free” clinics a few times a year. Network with your local humane societies, rescue groups and shelters to see what their needs are. Network, network, network. And good luck.
