Bay Area Pet Hospital in Traverse City Will Transition to Emergency Care Only on August 1st

Due to the high volume of emergency cases and limited availability for wellness care, Bay Area Pet Hospital has decided to go to strictly 24/7 Emergency visits starting August 1st.

They think this will be the best direction for their patients and their sister location, East Bay Animal Hospital, will be happy to see those pets who are in need of a new veterinary office. Records from Bay Area Pet Hospital will be made available to the East Bay staff. The East Bay Animal Hospital will be moving to a new location in the fall – just a half mile north of their current office on US 31 North, just before the M72 intersection in Acme. Canine Blood Donations Can Save Other Pets in Traverse City

Your dog can be a real hero to another dog in Traverse City. Bay Area Pet Hospital is in need of healthy, well cared for dogs willing to donate blood to help save the life of another pooch.

From Bay Area Pet Hospital: This is a photo of one their blood donors while he is having his blood drawn. He is lighly sedated and minimal restrain is needed. Gabe has helped save 3 lives so far! The blood collected in this photo was used for a Collie in need.
