Dogs Rescued From Suspected Alabama ‘Hog-Dog’ Fighting Operation Now Recovering in Michigan

Two out of 65 canines that were rescued from a suspected “hog-dog” fighting breeder operation in Alabama are now recovering in the Ann Arbor area, according to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Ann and Ivan were being used to breed other dogs to participate in a “a cruel spectator event in which pigs and dogs are forced to fight to the death as people watch,” according to the humane society.
