There’s a disease on the rise among wildlife in Charlevoix County. Local animal control officials say Distemper in wildlife is up, especially in raccoons. They say there’s been 35 complaints since June. Distemper is a viral disease in animals that attacks the gastro-intestinal and respiratory tracts.
